Maglehem
A small village of great natural beauty, elegant beaches and much
activity during the art-week.
Many remains from the past i.e the famous church that arise from the
13th century.
Lillehem
A beautiful small village with very nice gardens and houses.
A wellknown artist in the area is Irene Trotzig with her studio in the
old "Lillehemskolan" who is also member of the Konstnärgilde.
The famous Lillehems utegrisar and also the Icelandic horse riding
school.
Degeberga
Here you will find a variety of public services, such as grocery store,
health centre, dental service and a bank.
You can play golf or go skiing in the ski slope "Bananen".
Degeberga has a nature reserve around the waterfall Forsakar, and with
its two falls, it's Skånes highest waterfall.
Close by there is an open-air pool facility with a 50-metres long pool
that is opened during summertime.
Kristianstad
Here you will find almost everything, a variety of public services,
public baths, camping grounds, indoor ice rink, library etc.
Lots of events during the summer, of which the biggest is
"Kristianstadsdagarna".
Åhus
The Absolut Vodka is produced here, there are old houses and elegant
beaches.
A cosy harbour with "Åhus Gästgivaregård" right up against
it.
Take the chance, to play on Sweden's 5th oldest golfcourse.
Brösarp
Most people know about Brösarps Backar, stroll around among grazing
cows and enjoy a rich flora.
Many shops, a wellknown inn and an annual antique trade fair.
Tomelilla
The themepark "Tosselilla" is located here, with activities
for all ages.
Also probably the worlds smallest museum, but at the same time the
biggest "Hasse & Tage" museum.
 Kivik
A fishing village, known for its annual fairs like "Kiviks
marknad" and the "Äppelmarknaden".
Enjoy a pleasant lunch in the harbour at "Buhres" or buy fresh
fish and shellfish in the shop.
Go for a walk in the nationalpark Stenshuvud.
Simrishamn
The seaport Simrishamn is located in the middle of Österlen.
Fishrestaurants, café, museum and the medieval church Sankt Nicolai are
just a few examples of things that can be experienced here.
